Caffeine as an aphrodisiac and curiosities (+ recipe)
For some of us, caffeine is our friend in the morning. But did you know that caffeine is considered an aphrodisiac? The caffeine frees fatty acids in our body, our body then uses for energy. When these fatty acids are used for energy, delay the onset of fatigue. Caffeine increases heart rate and energy and therefore helps to burn calories but too much caffeine is not good. Consume caffeine in moderation.
Be aware that caffeine acts as a psychoactive drug and stimulant. Caffeine is the most widely consumed psychoactive substance in the world. Manufacturers have begun to add caffeine to the shampoo and soap, ensuring that caffeine can be absorbed through the skin and eliminate the cellulitis. The effectiveness of such products, however, has not been proven yet.
But be careful when consuming caffeine because it can cause increased heart rate (tachycardia) and blood pressure temporarily. Also symptoms like irritability, apathy, drowsiness, headaches, anxiety, etc., none pleasant.
Caffeine has the ability to transfer from mother to child so that, during pregnancy and lactation should limit your consumption because it can influence the baby's normal development.
Now, if you suffer from anemia, you should not drink coffee or tea or any caffeinated drink because they interfere with the absorption of iron. It is therefore not advisable to drink coffee or tea after meals or one hour after the same, if the body's iron levels are low.

+ Coffee (1 cup): 139 mg
+ Decaffeinated coffee (1 cup): 3 mg
+ Cola: 46 mg
+ Chocolate bar: 15 mg
+ Tea: 45 mg
Effects of caffeine in the body:
1. Increased sugar levels in our bodies2. Increases blood pressure3. Cause arrhythmias4. Increased loss of calcium and magnesium5. It may cause insomnia and disruption of sleep patterns, anxiety and depression6. Intensification of symptoms pre-menstruation syndrome (PMS)
That gives us energy RECIPE: CHICKEN GINGER AND GARLIC
Ingredients:- 5 chicken thighs, boned and diced- 1 medium ginger root, peeled- 20 cloves garlic- 125 cc soy sauce- 3 tablespoons cornstarch- Sunflower oil- White wine
Place the oil in a pan, and fry the ginger and garlic. Place chicken, turn up the heat to medium and mix until almost contastantemente chicken is all white. When the chicken is already white and begin to release some juice, add the cornstarch. Add the white wine and let 4 minutes to evaporate the alcohol. When the alcohol has evaporated add the soy sauce. Let cook until chicken is tender.
